Software Developer – SQL / MySQL / VB6

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with a strong background in MySQL, SQL Server, database management, and query optimization. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance our business applications—including legacy systems—while implementing performance improvements and new features.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Optimization: Write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries to ensure maximum application performance and data reliability.

• Database Management: Work extensively with MySQL, SQL Server, and relational database architectures.

• Debugging & Maintenance: Diagnose application issues, troubleshoot bugs, and provide reliable fixes while maintaining existing legacy codebases.

• Feature Development: Design and implement new features while aligning code with

  established business logic and workflows.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Database Expertise: Hands-on experience with MySQL and/or SQL Server, alongside proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, and subqueries.

• Performance Tuning: Solid understanding of database schema design, indexing strategies, and query performance optimization.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical capabilities and troubleshooting skills for untangling and maintaining legacy code.

• Preferred Background: Prior experience with VB6 or other legacy technologies, as

  well as domain knowledge in ERP, billing, inventory, or accounting software.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Experience Required: 2+ years (preferred).

• Employment Type: Full-Time.

• Work Arrangement: Full-Time, On-site (Work-from-office only; no remote or hybrid

  options available).

• Schedule: Monday through Saturday | 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
