Job Description – Junior Data Analyst (Power BI)
Experience: 0–2 Years
Department: Finance / MIS / Analytics
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst with basic knowledge of Power BI, Excel, and SQL. The candidate will be responsible for supporting data analysis, developing dashboards, preparing MIS reports, and generating actionable business insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Work with large datasets using Excel for data cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
Write basic SQL queries to extract and analyse data from databases.
Support business teams with data analysis and performance tracking.
Identify trends, patterns, and deviations in business performance.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of reports and dashboards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in Data Analytics, MIS, or Business Intelligence.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
Understanding of basic SQL queries (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualification
Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification preferred.
Basic understanding of data modelling and DAX.
Knowledge of Power Query will be an added advantage.
