We are seeking a Data Protection Associate responsible for protecting organizational data, managing user access, monitoring security controls, and ensuring compliance with internal data protection policies. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of information security principles, Microsoft environments, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and cybersecurity best practices.
This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience who possess strong technical knowledge and are eager to build a career in Information Security and Data Protection.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and protect sensitive organizational data from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure.
• Manage user accounts, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and role-based access controls.
• Implement and monitor Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
• Maintain information security documentation, audit logs, and compliance records.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
• Monitor security incidents and assist in investigation and remediation.
• Conduct periodic access reviews and security compliance checks.
• Assist with internal and external security audits.
• Educate employees on cybersecurity awareness and secure data handling.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices.
• Maintain endpoint security and monitor security alerts.
• Prepare reports related to security, compliance, and access management.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in IT Support, Information Security, System Administration, or Data Protection.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, ITGC, or Information Security Frameworks is an added advantage.
• Certifications like Microsoft SC-900, Security+, AZ-900, ISO 27001 Foundation, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
