Content Specialist – PDF Accessibility - Work From Home

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented candidates to join our team as Content Specialists in the field of PDF Accessibility and Document Remediation.

This is an opportunity for freshers and candidates with basic technical knowledge who are interested in developing a career in digital accessibility.

Preferred Skills

The following are an advantage but not mandatory:

• Basic knowledge of PDF documents.

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office.

• Basic understanding of HTML or document structure.

• Familiarity with accessibility concepts.

• Previous experience working with documents or content.
  

Eligibility

• Freshers are welcome to apply.

• Candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience may also apply.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.

• Candidates should have a strong interest in learning PDF Accessibility and Document Remediation.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Work on PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat and related tools.

• Create and modify PDF tags according to document structure.

• Ensure proper reading order and document organization.

• Work with headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, figures, and artifacts.

• Add and review alternative text for meaningful images.

• Identify and correct PDF accessibility issues.

• Use Adobe Acrobat Accessibility Checker to identify errors.

• Perform quality checks on remediated PDF documents.

• Follow defined accessibility guidelines and project requirements.

• Maintain accuracy and quality while meeting assigned deadlines.

Training & Development

No prior experience in PDF Accessibility is required.

Selected candidates will receive one month of practical training in PDF Accessibility and Document Remediation.

The training will provide hands-on experience with Adobe Acrobat, PDF tagging, reading order, tables, lists, images, accessibility checking, and related accessibility concepts.

The one-month training period is unpaid and will be used to evaluate the candidate's technical ability, learning capacity, accuracy, quality, productivity, and overall performance.

Candidates who successfully complete the training and demonstrate strong performance will be considered for a full-time employment opportunity with the company.
