We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Hardware Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading computer hardware, peripheral devices, and networking equipment. You will ensure that all systems run smoothly and efficiently to support daily business operations.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other hardware.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and network issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, etc.).
Perform regular maintenance and updates of hardware components.
Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
Maintain inventory of hardware assets and manage asset lifecycle.
Collaborate with software and network teams to ensure full system functionality.
Provide technical support to employees and resolve hardware-related issues in a timely manner.
Assist in IT infrastructure projects, including office moves and equipment upgrades.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience: 2+ years in IT support or hardware maintenance roles.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and network components.
Hands-on experience with installing and troubleshooting Windows/Mac OS.
Familiarity with server hardware and basic networking concepts.
Experience with tools like imaging software, remote desktop tools, and ticketing systems.
Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, etc.
