Multi-Skilled Technician (MST) maintains and repairs facility systems—including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC infrastructure—to ensure smooth, safe, and continuous operations.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance: Inspect equipment regularly and follow scheduled checklists to stop unexpected breakdowns.
Breakdown Repair: Troubleshoot and fix issues with electrical panels, lighting, water pumps, motors, and HVAC units.
System Monitoring: Check utility readings, log equipment performance data, and report major abnormalities to the facility manager.
Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety guidelines, such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Record Keeping: Maintain daily logbooks, service records, and maintenance inventories.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or a related technical trade.
Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in facility or industrial maintenance.
Core Skills: Basic multi-trade knowledge (electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs), fault diagnosis, and reading technical manuals or drawings
