🧹 Job Responsibilities of Maid / Helper in Preschool

🧼 1. Cleanliness & Hygiene

• Sweep, mop, and sanitize classrooms, play areas, and office spaces daily

• Clean and disinfect washrooms multiple times a day

• Ensure dust-free furniture, toys, shelves, and learning materials

• Dispose of garbage regularly and maintain cleanliness of dustbins

• Maintain hygiene standards as per preschool safety guidelines

🧸 2. Classroom Support

• Assist teachers in arranging classroom materials before and after activities

• Help in setting up activity areas, mats, toys, and learning aids

• Organize toys and materials after use

• Ensure classrooms remain neat and child-friendly at all times

👶 3. Child Assistance

• Help children during meals and snack time

• Assist toddlers with basic needs like handwashing, toilet visits, and dressing

• Provide support during nap time (arranging bedding, supervision)

• Ensure children maintain hygiene (clean hands, clean clothes)

🚿 4. Washroom & Personal Care Support

• Assist young children in washroom routines (if required)

• Ensure washrooms are clean, dry, and safe

• Help in changing clothes in case of spills or accidents

🍱 5. Meal & Snack Assistance

• Help in distributing meals/snacks to children

• Clean utensils (if applicable) and dining areas after use

• Ensure hygienic serving practices

🛠️ 6. General Maintenance Support

• Inform management about any repairs, damages, or shortages

• Ensure safe handling of cleaning supplies (away from children)

• Maintain stock of cleaning materials and report when needed

🎉 7. Event & Activity Support

• Assist during school events, celebrations, and special activities

• Help in decoration setup and cleanup

• Support teachers in managing children during events

🚸 8. Safety Responsibilities

• Ensure floors are dry to prevent slipping

• Keep sharp objects, chemicals, and hazards away from children

• Immediately report any accidents or safety concerns

⏰ 9. Discipline & Conduct

• Be punctual and maintain regular attendance

• Be polite, patient, and caring towards children
