Job Title: Laundry Helper

Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Department: Laundry / Housekeeping

Reports To: Laundry Supervisor / Manager

Job Summary:

Laundry Helper is responsible for supporting day-to-day laundry operations including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and maintaining hygiene standards. The role ensures timely processing of clothes and linen as per company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold clothes and linens

• Load and unload washing machines and dryers

• Check garments for stains or damage and take corrective action

• Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and equipment

• Pack and arrange finished laundry items properly

• Follow hygiene, safety, and chemical handling procedures

• Assist in linen distribution and collection

• Maintain basic records of laundry work (if required)

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Minimum education: 10th pass or below

• Fresher or experienced both can apply

• Basic knowledge of laundry processes preferred

• Physically fit (able to lift and handle laundry loads)

• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure

• Team player with good discipline

Skills Required:

• Washing, ironing, and folding skills

• Machine handling (washer, dryer, steam press)

• Attention to detail

• Time management

• Basic hygiene knowledge

Salary & Benefits (Example):

• Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month
