Key Responsibilities:
Perform steam ironing of shirts, trousers, T-shirts, kurtas, sarees, suits and other garments.
Handle different fabrics according to their care requirements.
Ensure clothes are wrinkle-free and properly finished.
Check garments for stains, damage or defects before and after ironing.
Handle delicate and premium garments with extra care.
Fold and pack garments properly for customer delivery.
Maintain cleanliness of the ironing area and equipment.
Complete orders within the scheduled turnaround time.
Report garment damage or quality issues to the manager.
Requirements:
Previous experience in laundry, dry cleaning or garment pressing is preferred.
Knowledge of steam ironing and different fabric types.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Punctual, honest and responsible.
Ability to work full-time.
