The Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens, towels, and guest clothing. This role ensures that all hotel linen meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting & Processing: Sort all dirty laundry by cloth fabric, color, and degree of stain before washing.

• Washing & Drying: Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and extractors using the correct chemical doses, water temperatures, and cycle settings.

• Ironing & Folding: Utilize commercial pressing, rolling, and steaming equipment to iron sheets, tablecloths, and uniforms. Fold and stack items neatly.

• Stain Treatment: Inspect items for damages, tears, or tough stains and apply appropriate pre-treatment solutions.

• Guest Laundry Services: Process guest dry-cleaning and laundry orders quickly and accurately according to their specific requests.

• Inventory & Storage: Maintain organized storage for clean linens and distribute fresh supplies to housekeeping floors or dining areas as needed.

• Equipment Maintenance: Clean lint filters daily and report any equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.
