Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations across multiple showrooms. This role involves managing housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained, conducting showroom visits, and coordinating housekeeping activities to support smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff Management & Recruitment

• Recruit qualified housekeeping staff as per operational requirements.

• Prepare work schedules and assign duties to team members.

• Monitor staff performance and ensure all tasks are completed to the required standards.

• Maintain a positive and productive working environment.

2. Training & Development

• Provide proper training to new and existing staff regarding cleaning techniques, safety procedures, grooming standards, and company policies.

• Conduct refresher training as needed to maintain high performance and service quality.

3. Showroom Visits & Travel

• Visit each showroom at least once a month to ensure cleanliness and housekeeping standards are consistently maintained.

• Be prepared to travel between multiple showroom locations as required.

• Inspect all areas, including display zones, storage rooms, washrooms, and public areas, for cleanliness and overall upkeep.

4. Material & Inventory Management

• Check and ensure availability of housekeeping materials, tools, and cleaning supplies at each showroom.

• Coordinate with the store manager or procurement team to replenish materials when required.

5. Grooming & Communication Standards

• Ensure all housekeeping staff maintain proper grooming and follow the company’s hygiene standards.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with showroom managers, staff, and the operations team.

• Prepare and submit monthly reports on housekeeping activities and observations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.

• Strong staff management and leadership skills.

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).

• Ability to train and motivate team members.

• Willingness to travel regularly between showrooms.

• Good knowledge of cleaning practices, hygiene standards, and material management.
