We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Primax Gastro Institute & Super Specialty Hospital to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas. The role includes using appropriate cleaning methods, handling chemicals safely, and ensuring a sanitized environment. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹25,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Infection Control & Hygiene Standards: Enforce strict hospital cleaning and terminal disinfection protocols, hazardous chemical safety, and cross-contamination prevention strategies.
Operational & Staff Scheduling: Direct daily cleaning operations, deploy team members efficiently across high-risk (ICU, OR) and routine areas, and handle shift handovers.
Quality Control & Compliance: Perform regular inspections of patient rooms, public spaces, and waste collection zones to ensure regulatory and hygiene compliance.
Bio-Medical Waste Management: Oversee the proper segregation, safe handling, and disposal of hazardous and bio-medical waste according to medical standards.
Team Training & Leadership: Onboard and train housekeeping staff on proper hand hygiene, PPE usage, safe equipment handling, and patient-courtesy standards.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is 12th Pass and 6 months - 2 years of experience. Expert knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is essential. The role requires candidates with time management skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform tasks efficiently.
