Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
Allocate rooms, public areas, and other cleaning duties to team members.
Inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
Ensure rooms are cleaned, maintained, and released on time.
Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping employees.
Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance.
Maintain adequate stock of linen, cleaning chemicals, toiletries, and housekeeping supplies.
Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance regarding room status, repairs, and guest requirements.
Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and promptly.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, and daily reports.
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, fire, and workplace safety standards.
Report maintenance issues, damages, lost and found items, and other irregularities to the appropriate department.
Assist the Housekeeping Manager with inventory, staff scheduling, inspections, and departmental activities.
Ensure environmentally responsible use of water, electricity, chemicals, and other resources.
