Housekeeping Supervisor – Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage housekeeping staff at the assigned site.
Prepare daily duty allocation, cleaning schedules, and manpower deployment.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across all areas.
Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance.
Inspect common areas, washrooms, lobbies, offices, and other assigned areas.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping machines and equipment.
Monitor cleaning materials, chemicals, and inventory.
Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety, and proper chemical usage.
Handle client/resident complaints and resolve housekeeping-related issues.
Maintain daily checklists, inspection reports, attendance, and other records.
Coordinate with the Property/Site Manager and report daily activities.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety, and hygiene standards.
Manage emergency and special cleaning requirements when needed.
