Job Title: Housekeeping Boy

Department: Housekeeping / Facility Management

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Facility Manager

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Boy is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and a neat appearance of assigned areas to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for staff, visitors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain floors, rooms, restrooms, corridors, and common areas

• Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas regularly

• Collect and dispose of garbage and waste in designated areas

• Refill toiletries, hand wash, tissues, and other supplies as required

• Maintain cleanliness of furniture, glass, doors, and fixtures

• Follow cleaning schedules and instructions given by the supervisor

• Use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and tools safely

• Report damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor

• Follow company hygiene, safety, and grooming standards

• Support special cleaning tasks during events or emergencies

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and chemicals

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Good physical stamina and attention to cleanliness

• Polite behavior and teamwork skills

Experience

• 0–6 Month of housekeeping experience preferred

• Freshers can also apply

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long hours and perform physical tasks

• Fit for cleaning and housekeeping duties
