The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort in all guest rooms at Espire Hospitality properties. The role ensures that every room is cleaned, refreshed, and presented according to Espire’s brand standards, creating memorable and delightful guest experiences.
Clean, sanitize, and service guest rooms according to Espire Hospitality standards.
Make beds, change linens, and ensure towel replenishment.
Clean bathrooms including shower, tub, toilet, sink, mirrors, and floors.
Replace room amenities (soap, shampoo, tea/coffee kits, stationery, etc.).
Dust furniture, fixtures, and remove marks from walls and surfaces.
Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors.
Ensure guest rooms are spotless, well-arranged, and aesthetically pleasing.
Follow Espire’s turn-down service procedures where applicable.
Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and promptly report them.
Handle guest property with care and follow lost-and-found procedures.
Respond to guest requests courteously and promptly.
Demonstrate professionalism, hospitality, and service excellence at all times.
Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy (e.g., “Do Not Disturb” policies).
Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow property safety guidelines.
Adhere to Espire’s hygiene, sanitation, and COVID/health safety protocols.
Ensure cleaning carts and storage areas are neat, stocked, and organized.
Coordinate with laundry, engineering, and front office for smooth operations.
Assist in deep cleaning tasks and special housekeeping projects as assigned.
Report any suspicious behavior, security risks, or hazards immediately.
Previous housekeeping or hotel operations experience preferred (not mandatory).
Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail.
Physically able to lift up to 20–25 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and housekeeping tools.
Positive attitude, polite demeanor, and strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
