Job Summary:
The Housekeeping GSA is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay for guests in line with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service assigned guest rooms as per hotel standards and SOPs
Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies
Make beds, change linens, and maintain room cleanliness
Clean bathrooms, fixtures, floors, and furniture thoroughly
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service areas, and public areas
Handle guest requests promptly and courteously
Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Ensure lost & found items are handled as per policy
Maintain grooming and personal hygiene standards
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of housekeeping operations
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks
Attention to detail and time management skills
Team player with a positive attitude
Qualifications:
Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass or Hotel Management Diploma
Experience: 0–2 years in housekeeping (freshers can also apply)
Preferred Attributes:
Prior experience in hotels/resorts
Understanding of guest service standards
Basic English communication skills
