The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest service across all guest rooms and public areas. This role contributes directly to guest satisfaction and supports Espire Hospitality’s commitment to delivering exceptional, memorable stays.
Clean, sanitize, and arrange guest rooms as per Espire Hospitality standards.
Make beds, replace linens, towels, amenities, and restock supplies.
Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and furniture.
Clean bathrooms, sanitize fixtures, and ensure all utilities are functioning properly.
Report maintenance issues, damaged items or safety hazards promptly.
Clean and maintain public spaces such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
Ensure cleanliness standards are upheld throughout the property at all times.
Provide courteous, prompt, and helpful service to all guests.
Address guest requests or escalate them to the supervisor as required.
Respect guest privacy and adhere to “Do Not Disturb” guidelines.
Follow daily checklists and work allocation sheets.
Handle housekeeping equipment safely and responsibly.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
Manage laundry operations if allocated, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding.
Maintain the housekeeping cart, keep it clean, stocked, and organized.
Collaborate with colleagues and other departments for seamless operations.
Attend departmental briefings and training sessions.
Follow company policies, grooming standards, and behavioral guidelines.
Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred; freshers may apply.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per operational needs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move items as part of daily duties.
