The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and pleasant environment for guests, visitors, and staff. This includes cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, replenishing supplies, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to company standards.
Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures.
Dispose of trash, maintain cleaning equipment, and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Restock supplies and ensure inventory is properly managed.
Follow health and safety regulations, including infection control and waste management procedures.
Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on time and documented as required.
Collaborate with the housekeeping team and other departments to deliver excellent service.
Maintain confidentiality and respect guests’ privacy at all times.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services (preferred but not mandatory).
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent time management and customer service skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Indoor/outdoor cleaning as required.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and moderate physical activity.
Uniform and protective gear provided.
