Housekeeping Staff are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall orderliness of assigned areas. This role ensures a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, guests, or staff.
Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces
Change linens and make beds as required
Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
Refill supplies such as toiletries, soap, and paper products
Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
Respect privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Good attention to detail
Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks
Basic understanding of cleaning products and equipment
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
May involve standing for long periods
May require weekend or shift work
