Job Purpose
To maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for all employees and visitors within the office premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that office facilities, common areas, meeting rooms, and restrooms meet the company’s hygiene and cleanliness standards daily.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Daily Cleaning & Maintenance
Office Spaces: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in workspaces, cabins, and corridors every morning before operational hours.
Dusting & Sanitization: Dust and wipe down office desks, chairs, computers, printers, and other peripheral devices daily.
Restroom Hygiene: Clean and sanitize male restrooms, including sinks, mirrors, toilets, and floors. Regularly replenish toiletries (soap, tissues, paper towels).
Waste Management: Empty trash cans and recycling bins throughout the day; dispose of waste safely according to company guidelines.
2. Pantry & Cafeteria Support
Ensure the office pantry/cafeteria is clean, organized, and stocked.
Serve tea, coffee, and water to staff, executives, and guests during meetings.
Clean used utensils, cups, and kitchen equipment promptly.
3. Meeting & Event Setup
Arrange chairs, tables, and necessary refreshments in conference rooms prior to scheduled meetings.
Ensure meeting rooms are cleaned and reset immediately after use.
4. Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, pantry items, and restroom essentials.
Inform the Supervisor/Admin team well in advance when supplies need to be reordered to avoid shortages.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience: Prior experience in office housekeeping, corporate hospitality, or facility maintenance is a plus.
Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods during the shift.
Personal Hygiene: Must maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
Behavioral Skills: Polite, trustworthy, punctual, and respectful towards all staff members and visitors.
Language: Basic communication skills in the local language or Hindi/English.
Working Conditions
Shift Timing: Standard office hours 9.30 to 7.30pm
