Electronics Factory Housekeeping Attendant – Job Description
📋 Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Factory Housekeeping Attendant to maintain our high-tech manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for preventing dust contamination and static electrical discharge, both of which threaten our product quality. You will maintain strict environmental controls across our production floors, assembly lines, and certified cleanrooms while ensuring absolute compliance with technical safety standards. [1, 2]
🔧 Key Responsibilities
ESD & Cleanroom Contamination Control
Utilize ESD-safe equipment, including specialized anti-static mops, conductive floor finishes, and grounded vacuum cleaners.
Maintain certified cleanrooms by strictly following specialized gowning, airlock entry, and lint-free wiping procedures.
Control microscopic dust on assembly lines, component racks, and automated soldering stations using isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and micro-fiber cloths.
Monitor and clean sticky mats at all cleanroom entry thresholds, replacing contaminated layers promptly. [1, 2]
Production Floor Maintenance
Sweep and mop floors using certified anti-static and residue-free chemical solutions that preserve floor conductivity.
Clear packaging materials (such as anti-static bags, reel components, and cardboard) away from assembly lines to prevent clutter.
Clean high-precision workstations without disturbing sensitive alignment tools, laser markers, or testing rigs.
Keep safety infrastructure clear, ensuring unhindered access to emergency eye-wash stations, fire exits, and main electrical circuit breakers.
Chemical & Waste Management
Dispose of electronic scrap and defective components following secure waste and secure recycling guidelines.
Handle chemical waste safely, including spent soldering flux, chemical solvents, and adhesives, following strict Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Empty designated trash bins frequently to keep the assembly atmosphere completely pristine. [1, 2]
Personal Safety & Technical Compliance
Wear specialized PPE constantly, including ESD smocks, wrist straps, heel grounders, hairnets, and lint-free gloves.
Maintain accurate cleaning logs to verify that cleanrooms and controlled environments stay within required particulate limits.
🛠️ Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 1 year of industrial cleaning experience, with distinct preference given to candidates with cleanroom or electronics manufacturing exposure.
Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) risks and cleanroom behavior protocols.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision to work carefully around extremely fragile, high-value robotic machinery and components.
Physical Ability: Capacity to work in restrictive cleanroom suits, stand for long intervals, and lift up to 15 kg.
