1. Personal Care Support
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Provide mobility support, including transferring, walking assistance, repositioning, and maintaining proper body posture.
Ensure the patient’s cleanliness, comfort, and overall well-being.
2. Medication Assistance
Remind and assist patients in taking prescribed medications on time as advised by doctors.
Maintain medication records when required.
Report any side effects, health concerns, or changes in condition to family members or supervisors immediately.
3. Health Monitoring
Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure (BP), blood sugar levels, pulse rate, and temperature if trained to do so.
Observe and report physical, emotional, or behavioral changes in the patient.
Assist with basic exercises or physiotherapy routines as advised by doctors or therapists.
4. Food and Nutritional Support
Prepare meals according to the patient’s dietary requirements.
Assist with feeding when necessary.
Ensure adequate hydration and proper nutrition throughout the day.
5. Companionship and Emotional Support
Provide companionship and emotional care to reduce loneliness and anxiety.
Engage patients in conversations and light recreational activities.
Encourage social interaction and positive engagement whenever appropriate.
6. Household Assistance
Maintain cleanliness of the patient’s room and surrounding area.
Perform light household tasks such as laundry, organizing essentials, and maintaining hygiene.

Identify and prevent fall risks or other safety hazards.
