The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of assigned areas to ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for guests, residents, or employees.
Clean and sanitize rooms, offices, corridors, washrooms, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
Change bed linens and make beds (where applicable)
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
Refill toiletries, cleaning supplies, and consumables
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
Follow cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
Maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance
Assist with deep cleaning and special cleaning tasks when required
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
Attention to detail
Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory
May require standing for long periods
Flexible working hours, including shifts and weekends (if required)
