Job Title: Hotel Cleaner

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
Job Summary
The Hotel Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and a pleasant environment throughout the hotel. The role includes cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces according to hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
Make beds, change bed linen, and replace towels and other amenities.
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas.
Clean windows, mirrors, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
Refill toiletries and guest supplies as required.
Collect and dispose of garbage properly.
Report damaged items, maintenance issues, or lost property to the supervisor.
Follow hotel cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines.
Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
Maintain housekeeping equipment and report any defects.
Respond politely and professionally to guest requests.
Complete assigned cleaning duties within the required time.
Requirements
Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is preferred but not always required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
