Job Title: Graduate Planning & Billing Engineer

Location: Calicut - Kerala site

Job Summary:

A Graduate Planning & Billing Engineer supports project execution by assisting in planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and billing activities. The role involves working closely with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Scheduling

• Assist in preparing project schedules using tools like MS Project / Primavera P6

• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly

• Identify delays and support mitigation planning

• Coordinate with site teams for progress tracking

Billing & Costing

• Prepare client bills (RA bills) based on work completed

• Verify subcontractor bills and quantities

• Assist in quantity take-offs from drawings

• Maintain records of measurements and billing documents

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly progress reports

• Prepare MIS reports for management review

• Ensure proper documentation of contracts, BOQs, and invoices

Coordination

• Liaise with procurement, site engineers, and consultants

• Support audits and client inspections

• Assist in contract administration activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)

• Basic understanding of construction processes and drawings

• Knowledge of BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

Skills Required:

• Basic knowledge of planning tools (Primavera / MS Project)

• Proficiency in MS Excel & AutoCAD

• Good analytical and numerical skills

• Strong communication and coordination ability

• Attention to detail

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Internship experience in construction projects

• Exposure to billing or planning roles

• Knowledge of contract terms (FIDIC basics is a plus)
