Job Title: Data Center Network Engineer (Fortinet & Juniper)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise data center network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and Juniper switching technologies, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
🔐 Firewall Management (Fortinet)
Configure, deploy, and manage FortiGate firewalls
Implement security policies, NAT, VPN (IPSec/SSL), and UTM features
Manage High Availability (HA) clusters
Configure SD-WAN policies
Monitor logs using FortiAnalyzer
Perform firmware upgrades and patch management
Conduct security audits and policy reviews
🌐 Switching & Network Infrastructure (Juniper)
Configure and manage Juniper EX/QFX series switches
Implement VLANs, L2/L3 routing, OSPF, BGP
Configure link aggregation (LACP), STP/RSTP
Manage spine-leaf or traditional 3-tier architecture
Perform switch stacking and redundancy setup
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
3–8 years of experience in Data Center Networking
Strong hands-on experience with:
Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls
Juniper switches (EX, QFX)
Solid understanding of:
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
VLANs, VRF, MPLS (preferred)
Network security best practices
Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery setups
Knowledge of monitoring tools (PRTG, Netflow etc.)
Experience with virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V) is a plus
