Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Laptop Support Engineer to join our IT team in S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), Punjab. You will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance and support to users via phone, email, or in person.
Assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot hardware issues for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices like printers and scanners.
Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
Manage and support I/O and peripheral devices.
Provide basic networking support and troubleshoot network-related issues.
Coordinate with vendors for AMC renewals and specialized repairs.
Document procedures, configurations, and system changes for future reference.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience: 1 - 4 years of experience in a Laptop/desktop support or IT helpdesk role.
Education: Any.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of hardware components, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN).
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and remote support tools.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and endpoint security is a plus.

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with non-technical users.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: ₹25,000 - ₹30,000 per month
