Role Overview
The Windows System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, security, and uptime of IT infrastructure for Kolkata-based users. This role involves managing systems, networks, and security operations while supporting business continuity through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily IT operational tasks to ensure system and network uptime for Kolkata users
• Monitor and manage backups, antivirus alerts, Office 365 alerts, and related email notifications
• Troubleshoot issues related to systems, applications, networks, and VPN servers
• Maintain and support IT infrastructure and security systems
• Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and service management
• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of technical incidents
• Support NOC operations and monitoring activities Key Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in any IT domain, BTech, BCA, BSC (with relevant certification)
• 2-3 years of experience in relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of Windows system administration
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networking, and security concepts
• Certifications such as Microsoft (MCP/MCITP) and Cisco preferred
• Basic understanding of Office 365, antivirus systems, and backup tools
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
