Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Applications Maintenance Engineer/IT Admin to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and optimization of enterprise applications to ensure seamless business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve issues, implement updates, and improve the performance and reliability of critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for website maintenance of Datawise and its related companies/offerings, business-critical applications, ensuring they remain functional, up-to-date, and optimized for performance.

• Issue Resolution: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, error messages, and downtime.

• System Monitoring: Continuously monitor application performance to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact business operations.

• Application Upgrades and Patches: Collaborate with relevant teams such as Microsoft, Zoho, GoDaddy, WordPress, AWS, etc. to manage and implement system upgrades, patches, and software enhancements.

• Configuration Management: Assist in the configuration of applications, including setup, customization, and fine-tuning to meet business requirements.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including system configurations, change management, and troubleshooting logs.

• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and system administrators to understand application requirements and provide technical solutions.

• User Support: Provide support to end-users, offering troubleshooting assistance and answering questions related to applications.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure that applications meet security standards and comply with relevant regulations, including data privacy and protection laws.

• Performance Optimization: Continuously assess application performance and suggest improvements to ensure that systems run at optimal efficiency.

• Testing: Participate in the testing of new releases or upgrades to ensure compatibility and functionality with existing systems.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving application issues.

• Familiarity with various enterprise applications, including [List key applications your organization uses]. Skills:

• Proficiency in system monitoring, debugging, and application performance tuning.

• Knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL), scripting languages (R and Python), and application deployment.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

• Certifications (Optional but beneficial):

• Relevant software-specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft suite, Zoho, etc.).
