Post - IT Executive

Education - B.Sc. (IT / Computer Science) / BCA / B. Tech / BE (IT / CS) / Diploma in IT or equivalent.

Relevant IT certifications (CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA, etc.) will be an added advantage.

Experience: 1–4 years of relevant experience in IT support or system administration.

Experience in a corporate or industrial setup preferred.

Location: Kolkata

Job Summary

The IT Executive will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations, ensuring smooth functioning of hardware, software, networks, and IT systems across the organization. The role involves providing technical support to users, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring data security and system uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to employees for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, operating systems, and applications.

• Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.

• Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement, AMC, repairs, and upgrades.

• Monitor and maintain servers, backups, antivirus, firewalls, and data security systems.

• Ensure regular data backups and assist in disaster recovery procedures.

• Manage email systems, user access rights, and IT asset inventory.

• Support ERP, HRMS, accounting, or other business applications as required.

• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data security standards.

• Assist in planning and implementing IT projects, upgrades, and audits.

• Maintain proper documentation of IT processes, assets, and configurations.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic server administration.

• Working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, antivirus, and firewall management.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and provide timely support.

• Effective communication and coordination skills.

• Basic understanding of cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace) is an advantage.
