Hardware Repair Technician
We are looking for a detail-oriented Hardware Repair Technician specialized in high-precision, chip-level diagnostics. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of hardware repair—from initial troubleshooting of Smart Boards and CPUs to intricate IC reballing and component-level soldering.
Ø Roles & Responsibilities
l Advanced Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware failures in Smart Boards and motherboards using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic software.
l Component-Level Repair: Perform high-precision chip-level repairs, including the replacement of surface-mount devices (SMD) and integrated circuits (ICs).
l IC Reballing & Rework: Execute professional BGA (Ball Grid Array) reballing and rework using hot-air stations and infrared soldering systems.
l Hardware Assembly: Manage the professional assembly and disassembly of CPU units, ensuring optimal thermal management and cable routing.
l Specialized Board Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair interactive Smart Board circuitry, focusing on touch-layer interfaces and power distribution units.
l Quality Control: Conduct post-repair testing to ensure all hardware meets manufacturer performance standards and safety regulations.
Ø Technical Qualifications
l Education: A Diploma in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent technical certification) is mandatory.
l Experience: Proven track record in chip-level electronics repair and micro-soldering.
Ø Skill Set:
l Expertise in reading and interpreting circuit diagrams and schematics.
l Deep understanding of CPU architecture and motherboard logic.
l Proficiency in high-precision soldering tools and rework stations.
l Standards: Strong knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety protocols.

l Manual Dexterity: High level of precision required for handling microscopic components.
l Analytical Thinking: Ability to trace electrical faults through logical deduction and schematic analysis.
l Documentation: Ability to maintain clear records of diagnostic findings and replacement parts used.
