Hardware Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Engineer responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV and surveillance systems. The role requires hands-on technical expertise in security systems and networking.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission CCTV systems (analog and IP-based).

• Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on surveillance equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to cameras, DVR/NVR, and network connectivity.

• Ensure proper cabling, wiring, and system integration.

• Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades when required.

• Maintain documentation of installations, service reports, and inventory.

• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.

• Ensure compliance with safety and security standards.

Technical Skills & Requirements

• Education: ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.

• Experience: 1–3 years in CCTV installation and maintenance.

• Knowledge of:

  • Analog & IP CCTV systems.

  • DVR/NVR configuration.

  • Networking basics (IP addressing, routing, switching).

  • Cable laying and termination (LAN, coaxial).

• Familiarity with access control systems and biometric devices is an advantage.

• Ability to use tools such as multimeter, cable tester, and crimping tools.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel for site installations.

• Ability to work in flexible hours if required.
