Desktop Support Engineer

We are an IT and AV consulting firm offering solutions to and undertaking projects for Govt organizations. We are looking to hire hardworking individuals for the role of computer maintenance executive.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Installation and Configuration:

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, printers, and network devices. 

·         Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users, both remotely and on-site. 

·         Preventive Maintenance:

Implement preventive maintenance schedules, including regular system updates, backups, and cleaning of equipment. 

·         Hardware Management:

Maintain an inventory of IT hardware, manage hardware procurement, and ensure proper disposal of old equipment. 

·         Network Management:

Monitor and manage network connections, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure proper functioning of network devices. 

·         User Support:

Provide technical assistance and training to end-users on hardware and software usage. 

·         Collaboration:

Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement new technologies and improve the overall IT infrastructure. 

·         Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory. 

·         Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies, procedures, and security regulations. 

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and networking principles. 

• Good communication and Problem-Solving Skills.

• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills

• Team player with the ability to maintain company integrity and confidentiality.
