Job Summary

Essjay Copier Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Printer Technician to join our Technical Services team. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of printers, copiers, scanners, and multifunction devices while ensuring excellent customer support and minimal equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and repair printers, copiers, scanners, and multifunction devices.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and print quality issues.

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.

• Replace and calibrate components such as rollers, fusers, drums, print heads, and imaging units.

• Configure network and USB-connected printers and resolve printing/scanning issues.

• Attend customer service requests and provide timely resolutions.

• Maintain service reports, repair records, and maintenance logs.

• Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and warranty-related services.

• Educate customers on equipment usage and basic maintenance.

• Follow company safety, quality, and service standards.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of printer, copier, and scanner hardware.

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.

• Basic networking knowledge for configuring network printers.

• Familiarity with Windows OS, printer drivers, and print management tools.

Eligibility

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in servicing and maintaining printers, copiers, scanners, laptops, desktops, or related hardware.
