Role Overview

We are looking for a versatile Web Developer who understands the full lifecycle of a website—from writing the code to designing the layout and optimizing it for Google. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and ranking our B2B product showcase website.

Key Responsibilities

1. Web Development & Design:

• Develop responsive, high-performance websites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js (primary), with the ability to work in Java or Python as required.

• Ensure the website is mobile-responsive and functions perfectly across all devices (crucial for our catalog).

• Collaborate on UI/UX design to create an intuitive product browsing experience.

2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

• Implement Technical SEO best practices (sitemap management, schema markup, increasing page speed/Core Web Vitals).

• Optimize website architecture for search engine crawling and indexing.

• Work on On-Page optimization (meta tags, image compression, URL structure).

• Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

3. Maintenance & Security:

• Troubleshoot and debug issues/bugs.

• Manage website security and data protection.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Frontend: Expert in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+). Knowledge of frameworks (React/Angular) is a plus.

• Backend: Proficiency in Node.js is required. Familiarity with Java or Python is highly preferred.

• SEO: Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword implementation, and tools like Google Analytics/Search Console.

• Database: Basic understanding of databases (SQL or MongoDB).

• WordPress: Proficient knowledge about Wordpress and Web Hosting.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies.
