2D Graphics Designer — Events & Media

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented 2D Graphics Designer with a strong interest in the events, media and entertainment industry. The designer will be responsible for creating engaging visual content for events, brand activations, corporate events, social media and promotional campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

- Design 2D graphics and creative artwork for events, exhibitions and brand activations.

- Create event branding materials including backdrops, standees, banners, stage graphics, posters, invitations and digital creatives.

- Develop social media creatives, event announcements and promotional graphics.

- Design presentations, pitch decks and event proposals when required.

- Work on stage screens, LED screen content and event visual assets.

- Adapt designs according to different sizes, formats and production requirements.

- Coordinate with the creative, production and event teams to understand project requirements.

- Handle multiple projects and deliver creatives within tight deadlines.

- Maintain brand consistency across all event and promotional material.

- Prepare final artwork in print-ready and digital formats.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

- Good understanding of typography, colour, composition and visual hierarchy.

- Understanding of print production, dimensions, bleed and resolution.

- Ability to create clean, attractive and professional event designs.

- Basic knowledge of After Effects, Canva or other motion/design tools will be an advantage.

- Good communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to take creative briefs and convert them into designs.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who understands that event graphics are not just artwork but part of the overall event experience. Experience in an event company, production house, advertising agency, exhibition company or media organisation will be preferred.
