Key Responsibilities
Prepare laser cutting files in CorelDRAW
Convert artwork/designs into clean and accurate vector files
Create and modify nodes, curves, outlines and closed shapes
Correct overlapping lines, open nodes and other cutting-file errors
Prepare proper nesting/layouts to minimize material wastage
Understand dimensions, scale and production drawings
Make corrections in existing CorelDRAW files as per production requirements
Prepare complex patterns/designs for wood veneer and marquetry
Coordinate with laser machine operators and production team
Ensure files are completely production-ready before cutting
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of CorelDRAW
Good understanding of vector tracing and vector editing
Experience preparing files for Laser Cutting / CNC / Router / Signage / Woodworking preferred
Knowledge of CDR, DXF, AI and PDF file formats
Good understanding of measurements and dimensions
Ability to handle detailed and complex artwork
Production experience will be preferred over normal graphic-design experience
