                                                  Design Engineer

Job Summary:

Equicor Technologies Pvt Ltd are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to support engineering and design activities for Oil & Gas industry projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation in compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, layouts, and (STAD PRO, TEKLA & REVIT ) 3D models for process equipment, piping, and structures.

·         Attending site visit to know exact scope, gathering primary information & design related inputs about project

·         Attending internal & external Kick Off meeting with all departments of all projects

·         Visiting sites during execution for checking purpose & attending client meetings at site. (if any)

• Develop P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and isometrics.

• Perform design calculations as per industry standards.

• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards such as ASME, API, ANSI, and ISO.

• Coordinate with procurement, project, and site teams for design clarifications.

• Review vendor drawings and technical documents.

• Conduct design reviews and participate in project meetings.

• Support troubleshooting and modification of existing systems.

• Ensure timely delivery of design documents as per project schedule.

• Maintain proper documentation and revision control.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.

• 3–8 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Chemical industry.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDMS / E3D / SP3D or equivalent design software.

• Strong knowledge of piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and process systems.

• Understanding of safety standards and HSE compliance.
