Job Title: State Business Head
Location: On field work in Himachal Pradesh State.

About the Role:
As a key decision-maker, the State Business Head oversees regional managers, monitors business performance, and ensures that sales targets, customer satisfaction standards, and operational benchmarks are consistently met. The role requires maintaining effective coordination with cross-functional teams, enhancing partner and customer relationships, and continuously improving processes to maximise efficiency and profitability. Ultimately, the State Business Head serves as the primary force behind the state’s business success, leading teams toward sustainable growth and long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive overall business growth and achieve state-level revenue and sales targets.
2. Lead, mentor, and manage regional and area teams to ensure high performance.
3. Develop and implement strategic business plans to strengthen state-wide operations.
4. Identify new market opportunities, monitor competition, and expand market presence.
5. Oversee daily operations, ensure process compliance, and improve operational efficiency.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
7. Analyze performance reports, track KPIs, and take corrective actions when needed.
8. Ensure smooth coordination between sales, marketing, operations, and support teams.
9. Manage the state budget, optimize resources, and drive cost-efficient growth.
10. Represent the company in state-level meetings, reviews, and business discussions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
5+ years of experience in Ed-Tech sales or book-selling background or Publishing books background, business development, or state/regional management.
Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competition.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and CRM tools.
Ability to travel across the state as required.
