We are seeking a dynamic, field-oriented Agri Vegetable Sales Executive to manage the direct sale of fresh vegetables from farm to market. The role focuses on farmer coordination, market sales, price negotiation, and efficient movement of produce with minimal wastage and reduced dependency on middlemen.
Coordinate directly with farmers for vegetable sourcing
Assess crop quality, quantity, and harvesting schedules
Sell fresh vegetables to Pune Market Yard, local mandis, wholesalers, retailers, hotels, and bulk buyers
Negotiate pricing to ensure fair returns for farmers and sustainable margins
Plan daily pickup, transportation, and delivery
Ensure freshness, timely movement, and minimum wastage
Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and buyers
Act as a reliable link between farm and market
Track daily mandi prices and demand trends
Identify high-demand vegetables and profitable markets
Oversee grading, sorting, and basic packaging
Reject damaged or substandard produce
Maintain daily records of sales, quantities, pricing, and payments
Share regular updates with management
Experience in agriculture, vegetable trading, or agri sales preferred
Strong knowledge of local mandis and vegetable markets
Proven negotiation and deal-closing ability
Willingness to work in field conditions and early morning hours
Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
Proficiency in local language (mandatory)
