Role Overview

The primary objective is to expand the company's market presence within the industrial sector (e.g., stone-crushing, apparel, or manufacturing) through direct client engagement and technical product demonstrations.

Key Field Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and visit potential industrial clients (factories, workshops, or retail outlets) to generate new business opportunities.

• On-Site Product Demonstrations: Visit client sites to provide technical briefings and demonstrations for products like conveyor belts, bearings, or industrial sewing machines.

• Client Relationship Management: Maintain regular face-to-face contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities.

• Market Intelligence: Collect ground-level data on competitor pricing, new product launches, and evolving customer needs to report back to management.

• Payment Collection & Follow-ups: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including following up on quotations and ensuring timely payment collections from clients.

Technical & Office Duties

• Quotation Preparation: Draft detailed technical and financial proposals based on specific client requirements gathered during field visits.

• Sales Reporting: Update CRM tools or MS Excel with daily visit logs, lead statuses, and sales forecasts.

• Brand Representation: Participate in industry-specific exhibitions and trade shows to represent the company and network with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Typically requires a Graduate degree. For the engineering branches, a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is often preferred.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of industrial products like conveyor belts, V-belts, and lubricants.

• Communication: Proficiency in English and local languages (e.g., Marathi for Pune/Mumbai or Bengali for Kolkata) to negotiate with diverse clients.

• Mobility: Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is usually mandatory for field-based duties.
