Job Summary
The Real Estate Sales Representative is responsible for representing buyers and sellers in real estate transactions, guiding clients through the buying, selling, or leasing process, and ensuring a smooth and successful experience from first contact to closing. This role requires strong sales skills, market knowledge, and excellent client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, advertising, and lead follow-up
Assist buyers in identifying suitable properties based on needs, budget, and market conditions
Market and list properties for sellers using professional photography, MLS, digital marketing, and open houses
Conduct property showings, open houses, and client consultations
Prepare and present offers, counteroffers, contracts, and other transaction documents
Negotiate pricing and terms on behalf of clients to achieve optimal outcomes
Coordinate with lenders, inspectors, attorneys, and escrow officers to ensure timely closings
Stay current on local market trends, property values, and real estate regulations
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the transaction
Qualifications
Valid real estate license (required)
Proven sales, customer service, or negotiation experience preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with MLS systems and real estate software
Knowledge of local real estate market and fair housing laws
