Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Sales Executive – Home Automation to promote and sell smart home automation solutions including smart switches, lighting, security systems, video door phones, curtains & blinds, home theatres, and integrated automation platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, consultative selling capabilities, and a proven ability to close deals in competitive markets.

Candidates with prior experience in banking, telecom, or pharmaceutical sales will have an added advantage due to their exposure to structured sales processes, relationship management, and target-oriented environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through field sales, referrals, channel partners, and site visits

• Conduct product demonstrations and explain home automation solutions to residential and commercial clients

• Understand customer requirements and propose customized automation solutions

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by management

• Maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and end customers

• Coordinate with technical and installation teams for smooth project execution

• Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, negotiate, and close sales

• Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM regularly

• Stay updated with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus)

• 1–4 years of sales experience; exposure to banking, telecom, pharmaceuticals, electronics, or FMCG preferred

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently

• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits

• Basic understanding of technology or willingness to learn home automation systems
