Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Sales Manager for our FMCG (Detergent) or Commodities wholesale business in Prayagraj. The candidate will be responsible for managing sales operations, expanding distributor and wholesale networks, increasing market penetration, and driving revenue growth across assigned territories.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership qualities, excellent market understanding, and proven experience in FMCG or commodities sales, particularly within wholesale and distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets
Manage and expand distributor, dealer, and wholesale networks
Drive sales of FMCG products, especially detergents or commodities(Rice or Cooking Oil) in assigned markets
Identify new business opportunities and market expansion areas
Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, distributors, and key clients
Lead, guide, and monitor the field sales team to ensure performance targets are achieved
Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis
Monitor product availability, stock movement, and sales trends
Ensure timely collections and outstanding payment follow-ups
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams for smooth supply chain execution
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates for management
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of FMCG or Commodities wholesale market operations
Proven experience in detergent or commodities sales preferred
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage sales targets and market expansion activities
Good communication and team management skills
Basic computer proficiency and reporting knowledge
Educational Qualification:
Graduated in any discipline
MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG, detergent, or commodities sales
Prior experience in wholesale and distribution sales preferred
Strong market network in Prayagraj and nearby regions
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and field-driven professional
Two-wheeler with a valid driving license preferred
