Job Title: Sales Manager – Government & Private Bids (Medical Field)
Location: Mumbai/Hyderabad/Bangalore (with travel as required)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to handle Government and
Private Hospital tenders, bidding processes, and institutional sales. The candidate will be
responsible for identifying opportunities, managing end-to-end tender participation, and
actively pitching our medical solutions to hospitals and healthcare institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and track Government and Private hospital tenders relevant to the
company’s product portfolio
Manage the complete tendering process including documentation, submission,
follow-ups, and compliance
Visit Government and Private hospitals to generate new business opportunities and
maintain relationships
Present and pitch company products and solutions to hospital decision-makers,
procurement teams, and clinicians
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, regulatory, and operations) for accurate
bid submissions
Ensure timely submission of bids with complete technical and commercial
documentation
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and
institutions
Monitor competitor activities and market trends
Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
Key Requirements:
Experience: 1–3 years in medical equipment sales, specifically in
Government/Institutional sales and tender handling
Industry: Healthcare / Medical Devices / Hospital Equipment (Mandatory)
Proven experience in handling GeM, e-tendering portals, and institutional
procurement processes
Strong understanding of tender documentation, compliance, and bidding strategies
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to travel extensively and manage field sales activities
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)
Degree in Biomedical Engineering / Life Sciences / Business Administration is
preferred
Preferred Skills:
Strong networking skills within hospitals and healthcare institutions
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in medical equipment
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
Good organizational and time management skills
