Purpose and Objective of this role
To drive sales growth in the assigned territory by promoting, demonstrating, and selling
critical care and imaging medical equipment, managing the entire sales cycle from
prospecting to payment collection.
Scope of this role
Responsible for achieving sales targets within the designated territory in North
Bangalore, building a robust pipeline, and establishing strong customer relationships in
the healthcare sector.
Essential Duties / Key Responsibilities
• Identification and prospecting of potential clients across the assigned territory.
• Promotion of company's medical equipment portfolio for critical care and
imaging.
• Arranging and coordinating product demonstrations for prospects.
• Collecting and reporting market intelligence on competitors and related
products.
• Managing the entire sales cycle: prospecting, quotation submission, negotiation,
purchase order collection, delivery coordination, and payment follow-up.
Job Requirements
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or an MBA in
Sales/Marketing.
• Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in sales, preferably in medical equipment,
healthcare, or B2B sales.• Certification: Not mandatory, but relevant sales or product certifications are a
plus.
• Other Qualifications: Must possess a valid driving license and own a 2-wheeler
for travel within the territory.
Key interactions
• External: Hospital administrators, Department heads (Radiology, Critical Care),
Purchase managers, Doctors, Biomedical engineers, Distributors.
• Internal: Sales Manager, Marketing team, Logistics/Supply Chain team,
Finance/Accounts team.
Key decision areas
• Prioritization of prospects and sales leads within the territory.
• Strategic planning for customer visits and product demonstrations.
• Negotiation terms within predefined company guidelines.
Supervisory responsibilities
• None.
Work environment
• Field-based role requiring extensive travel within the assigned territory. Office
time for planning and reporting.
Physical demands
• Requires travel using a two-wheeler, carrying demonstration kits/product
literature, and ability to visit various healthcare facilities.
Travel required
• Extensive daily travel within Bangalore territory.
