Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities in the field of Instrumentation / Automation / Industrial Products.

• Promote and sell instrumentation products such as sensors, transmitters, gauges, control panels, PLC/SCADA solutions, valves, flow meters, pressure instruments, temperature instruments, etc.

• Visit clients, industries, and project sites to understand their technical requirements.

• Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and technical/commercial offers.

• Coordinate with customers regarding product specifications, pricing, delivery, and after-sales support.

• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new client accounts.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

• Follow up on inquiries, negotiations, and order closures.

• Work closely with the technical and service team for smooth project execution.

• Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

• Prepare sales reports, MIS, and client visit reports.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Instrumentation / Automation / Industrial Equipment Sales.

• Good understanding of technical products and industrial applications.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to handle B2B sales and industrial clients.

• Strong customer relationship management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel.

Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering

• MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 1 to 5 years of experience in Instrumentation Sales / Industrial Product Sales / Automation Sales

• Freshers with good technical knowledge and communication skills may also be considered for junior roles.
