1. Job Purpose

Raj Electricals is looking for a dynamic, target-oriented, and result-driven Sales Executive – Lighting Division to develop new business opportunities, acquire customers, generate enquiries, and achieve assigned sales and gross-profit targets.

The candidate will be responsible for market visits, lead generation, customer and dealer development, project sales, quotation follow-up, order conversion, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of lighting products and applications and should be comfortable with field sales and customer visits.

A Sales Executive in the lighting division drives revenue by selling commercial, industrial, or residential LED and architectural lighting systems. They build relationships with architects, contractors, and distributors to pitch lighting products, secure project specifications, and meet regional sales targets.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead Generation: Find and pitch new clients, builders, and electrical contractors.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Meet with architects, interior designers, and lighting consultants to get products specified into building plans.

• Channel Management: Support and expand local dealer and distributor networks.

• Order Processing: Prepare price quotes, negotiate terms, and close sales.

Key Skills Required

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of LED specifications, lumens, wattage, and architectural layouts.

• Communication: Strong presentation and negotiation skills for B2B client meetings.

• Field Mobility: Readiness for regular local travel and site visits.

• Experience: 1 to 3 years in electrical, interior, or project-based field sales

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering will be an advantage.

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in Sales / Business Development.

• Experience in lighting, electrical, industrial products, building materials, or project sales will be preferred.

• Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude may also be considered.

Working Conditions

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: As per company policy
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Travel: Regular local and outstation customer/project/dealer visits may be required.
