Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Prior experience in FMCG, Garments, Textile, Innerwear, or Retail Sales is preferred.
Job Summary:
The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the retail network, maintaining strong customer relationships, collecting market information, and ensuring product availability across the assigned territory. The role requires regular market visits, order collection, retailer engagement, and coordination with distributors to drive business growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the assigned territory.
Visit retail outlets as per the Permanent Journey Plan (PJP).
Generate secondary sales by collecting orders from retailers.
Appoint new retailers and expand market coverage.
Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
Ensure proper product availability and visibility at retail outlets.
Monitor distributor stock levels and report shortages or non-moving inventory.
Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration.
Execute company promotional activities and product launches.
Collect market intelligence regarding competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and new products.
Resolve retailer complaints promptly by coordinating with the concerned departments.
Update daily sales reports, market visit reports, and customer information in the company's reporting system.
Coordinate with the Area Sales Manager for target achievement and market development.
Ensure timely collection of payments wherever applicable.
Maintain discipline, professional conduct, and company standards during market visits.
Required Skills:
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and mobile reporting applications.
Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
